The push to increase efforts to protect children online is happening globally and not just in the US. Buyers can purchase sex across the world and view it from the comforts of their home computer. This needs to stop. The recent report published by Europol reveals that there is an ever rising profit made from the sale of children online-traffickers’ new marketplace. Ireland’s Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald has stated that new legislation and improvements to existing legislation will be implemented soon.
Let’s hope that indeed happens!
